TRJP
How can I visit The Rainbow Jacket Project?
We are open by appointment only. Contact us via Facebook or Instagram for the fastest response. You can also email therainbowjacketproject@gmail.com to schedule.
Who does TRJP serve?
We serve anyone who identifies as transgender, non-binary, or gender non-conforming. This includes people of all ages and socioeconomic statuses.

How can I donate clothing or funds?
Check out our donations page for more information.
Does TRJP offer binders or tucking underwear?
Yes! We purchase these clothing items thanks to generous donations. Individuals choosing to get a binder/tucking underwear will need to take their own measurements. This can be done ahead of time or during an appointment. We have a measuring tape available — clients who need help measuring should bring a friend or family member along. If you plan to get one these garments, let us know when booking your appointment.

Can I still visit TRJP if I can afford to buy clothes?
All clothes and accessories are FREE for our clients, regardless of financial need. We know that trans people struggle to purchase clothes for many reasons, and we're here to provide a supportive space.
Can TRJP deliver clothing to me?
We are a small team of volunteers and unfortunately don't have the capacity to deliver. If you don't have a ride, we recommend asking a trusted friend or family member to bring you.

How can I volunteer for TRJP?
To be considered for volunteering, fill out this form. Volunteers must be 18+ years old and undergo a background check.

Can TRJP come speak to my organization/club or table at my event?
Yes! Contact us and we'll do our best to arrange something with you.

Can my organization/club volunteer at TRJP as a one-time event?
Contact us to see what our current needs are. We occasionally have projects suitable for large groups.

Is TRJP affiliated with St. Paul's Episcopal Church?
While St. Paul's has graciously provided us with a space in their annex, TRJP is not affiliated with St. Paul's or any other religious entity/institution.

Can you tell me if binding/tucking is appropriate for my health needs?
Because we are not and do not claim to be healthcare providers or medical experts, we cannot recommend that you wear a binder/tucking underwear (or not), measure you, recommend a particular size or style, or offer any individualized recommendations on the use of binders/tucking underwear. If you have access to a supportive health professional, we recommend speaking to them about how binding/tucking pertains to your health needs before starting.

TRJP has binding/tucking garments available for individuals who choose to wear them. In addition to consulting a healthcare provider, you can find general information about binding/tucking through online resources.
